Aerial Hoop

Over this 12-week Aerial Hoop course, we build on hoop positions from Aerial Hoop F, focusing on more challenging dynamic tricks, choreography and transitioning through positions. We continue to refine technique of beginner, intermediate, and advanced Aerial Hoop positions requiring upper body strength, balance, and body control. 

Pre-requisites:  You'll get the most out of this course if you have been training Aerial Hoop for 2 years or more, have mastered beginner and intermediate Aerial Hoop positions, and begun training in advanced Aerial Hoop. Students should be comfortable with intermediate dynamic transitions (beats, flips and drops), as well as be able to safely hold single knee hangs, hip holds, single arm/elbow hangs, as well as inverts on the top/bottom bar. Students who have not already received instructor permission should contact Frida (frida.lidar@yahoo.com) to determine if the necessary course prerequisites are met. Please note that due to the advanced nature of this course, instructor permission is required, and even after the course starts students may be recommended to another level to ensure safe training.

The course fee also includes the opportunity to practice during hoop socials (Sundays 19:00-21:00 in Rosendal). Socials are an open studio time where you can practice whatever you want to repeat or learn. An instructor is always present if you need help.
